🔄 Automatic updates of conversations and connections
To avoid detection by LinkedIn, Kanbox only retrieves essential user data when syncing conversations and connections. No extra or risky requests are sent.
The data retrieved includes:
first and last name,
profile headline,
profile picture,
connection status (accepted, pending request),
connection date,
date and content of the last message exchanged.
📅 Sync frequency
When the account is created: all connections and the last 500 conversations are imported.
Every time the inbox is opened: the last 25 conversations are refreshed.
Every 3 hours: the last 100 conversations and last 100 connections are synced.
Every 12 days: all connections are re-synced.
💡 When exporting a CSV from your contacts or connections, it’s normal if some profile details are missing — full imports only occur under certain conditions.
👁️ Full profile updates
A full import of a member’s data (job title, company, experience, description, etc.) only happens when their profile page is opened from the inbox or a pipeline.
Since this requires multiple requests, Kanbox limits full updates to 80 profiles per day.
⚙️ 3 situations that trigger a full update
First time opened: if the profile has never been enriched and the quota isn’t reached, Kanbox updates it.
Last update > 7 days ago: same logic — if allowed by the quota, the profile is refreshed.
Manual trigger: a “Refresh” button is available at the top-left of the profile page to force an update, if quota permits.
📤 Bulk updates from a pipeline
In any pipeline, you can run a batch action to update all profiles in a column.
Once updated, you’ll be able to export a CSV with full profile data for those leads.
🔁 Automatic updates during campaigns
If a profile visit is included in a Kanbox campaign, it will automatically trigger a full update of the visited member’s profile.
